Direct Link to ClickBank Order Page
I’ve noticed that not so many know that there is an option to direct the user directly to ClickBank product’s order page.
Why do we need it?
Think about the following scenario:
You have created a great landing page on your website. It might be even a better sales page the original one. You succeeded to convince the user that he or she should buy the product. Instead of direct the visitor right to the order page where he can place an order, you direct the visitor to the product page where he will experience again the sales efforts that you already did.
It’s true to say that as an affiliate you don’t create a sales landing page but pre sale landing pages (big difference).
But sometime it’s better to create a sale page. The most reasonable reason is because the product owner has a great product but poor sale page. Another common situation is email marketing. In some situation you will prefer to direct the user right to the order page.
Anyway, it’s up to you to decide when to use what. You should try both ways and see what best convert for your campaign.
To direct the user to the order page all you need to do is using the following format:
http://PRODCT_NUM.AFF_ID_PUBLISHER.pay.clickbank.net
For example: suppose that you are promoting Water4Gas and your affiliate id is TEST.
Water4Gas product id is 2 (You can get the product number by following the order link on the publisher website). At the bottom line, your affiliate link will look like this:
http://2.TEST_water4gas.pay.clickbank.net
Please note!
This format will NOT override a ClickBank cookie that is already exists in the user computer. You might lose sales with this method.
Despite of this fact, you will find that in some cases, like email marketing, this method converts better that directing the user to the product page.
As we always say: try, try and then keep trying

Good find! However, it is a bit risky if it doesn’t overwrite cookies.
Yep, I agree.
But it’s worth the try.
As I said, in some cases its convert better.
