Back from The Affiliate Summit West 2008

The Affiliate Summit West is behind us. I am now back on my Blog updating you guys with what’s happened there. I did not have the chance to write in the last days since I was very busy. During the summit days I met new people talking about everything that you can imaging related to affiliate marketing and of course participating in some of the sessions that were very informative. It’s my first affiliate summit that I was attended to. I will probably keep coming to the future summit. It’s THE place to get the right connection and to keep update with this industry trends. Although I did not came as an affiliate but to find the right affiliates to work with our new product, I have a good feeling that in the future you will here me talking about our first affiliate experience. We do monetize our website with ads and products links from the affiliate’s networks but as a secondary way to make money from our websites. I was very exciting to hear from a close look how affiliates are making money and to discuss about their techniques. It’s not that I am not familiar with those techniques. However, to hear the extra tip that can do the different monetize your website well is always helpful. As the keynote mentioned at the summit the gap from having an average product/idea to a good product/idea is much bigger than the different between a good product/idea to a brilliant product/idea that extremely succeeds. It’s actually a very small gap which in most cased very hard to reap.

You will hear more about the Affiliate Summit West 2008 in the future. I have many other things in my mind that I would like to share with you guys.
